While working as an artist in New York, unable to find unique quality handbags that had equal parts beautiful form and function, Roanne, Founder and Creative Director of SABEN started designing her own – it was in her parent’s garage that the first SABEN bag came to life.

Their fabulous Commercial Business Development Manager is off on maternity leave and you could soon be joining a business that truly values genuine relationships, teamwork, integrity, creativity, fun, quality and sustainability.

  • You’ll enjoy being part of a talented, fun, loyal and collaborative team –  you’ll be working to achieve great things with key internal and external stakeholders including merchandise, marketing and office teams.

 To be considered for this role you’ll ideally:

  • Love the idea of being an integral part of this very special business
  • Have excellent customer relationship management, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Be confident in your ability strategically optimise opportunities and sales potential.
  • Be proactive, enjoy using your strong business acumen and have a proven track record developing, implementing and achieving a B2B sales strategy
  • Be confident negotiating terms of trade, conducting post season reviews and creating seasonal sell plans.
  • Experience with CRM (Hubspot), Cin-7 Core, Klaviyo and Asana (Team Collaboration) or similar systems.
  • Have experience working in international markets, with existing relationships in retail and distribution in Australia and/or globally.
  • Be prepared (and enthusiastic) to travel from time to time within NZ and to Australia. (Full drivers license required)
