If you are a national operations or senior regional manager based in Christchurch- you will know that opportunities at your level in retail don’t come up often! We are looking for an experienced national or regional manager to run the NZ retail stores for our client – and you can be based out of Christchurch.

With stores all over the country, there will be travel involved but this company has realistic expectations and you won’t be living out of a suitcase. Responsible for all areas of retail operations, you will live and breathe the company culture and inspire your team to become brand ambassadors.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Store visits, mentoring, coaching and developing the store managers
  • Recruiting, inducting and training the team nationwide
  • Visual Merchandising execution and training
  • Maintaining excellent communication with the stores on a daily basis
  • Inspiring the team on store visits to become brand ambassadors
  • Drive sales and KPI’s across the country in all stores.

To be successful in this role you will be;

  • Experienced in managing retail businesses across the country
  • Have proven results in retail across your region / country.
  • Be a confident and calm leader who responds well to constructive feedback
  • Be a dynamic, inspiring manager who can lead by example and initiate change
  • Be a supportive, encouraging and happy leader who can mentor and develop the team
  • Be a strategic thinker and confident in delivering presentations
